I agree, that the word no is very poisonous to us. I try to embrace the power of yes whenever I can. Much like the book 'yes man'.
At the point of my life I am at right now, I hear the words 'you can't do that', 'why are you doing that?', 'don't be silly' all the time. I admit it is hard to hear but I am learning to tune it out.
