I happen to enjoy dirty jokes. I always have. I would like to talk more than I do, but I'm a naturally reserved person. Men don't like me because I don't talk a lot, they like me in spite of that particular flaw.
And, yes, whether you're a man or woman, if you want "the pick of the litter" (kind of a nasty term), you will probably need to attend to your appearance and act pleasant. To expect that people of the opposite sex "should" be attracted to you no matter how you look and no matter how you act is entitled and a little ridiculous.
