I am conflicted about this.
On one hand, I think it is extremely important to curb this early enough, on the other hand, how much can we impose on women?
I had three miscarriages back to back in one year. I know I had a bit of dip of down time naturally and it made me feel like wow, I can see glimpses of mood after birth...
It is possible my mood was mainly about losing pregnancy not having a baby...
However, I noticed no one asked me how I was dealing emotionally with the loss. I undertook myself to a therapy to ensure I am not oppressing feelings of loss.
It is very delicate. I think education is important. I think having a wholesome care while pregnant is important so the expecting mothers know where to go if one feels a, b and c....while they are pregnant and feeling good rather than harboring on them after they deliver.
