I think articles like this should be balanced with a description of the fallout for children whose parents stay in horrible marriages for the sake of the kids. My husband came from a family where the parents had a miserable, silent, unloving marriage; and try though I might to avoid it, we ended up with the SAME crappy marriage that was thoroughly modeled for him throughout his childhood.
