Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

I am 58 years old. I did not see many marriages in the older generations that were inspirational to me. Some were downright abusive, many were what you described - cold, silent, some with continual conflict, screaming, fights and alcohol abuse. The people in them seemed to hate each other. It all seemed so cold and horrible.Yet, they are considered a "success" because these marriages did not end in divorce.
I agree, no thanks.
