Why do you say that?
I think this comment proves the point of the article. Currently people come out of the education system with no real idea of how most professions work. You have a certain idea that being an accountant, tax inspector, or lavatory cleaner is somehow boring and unfulfilling, but why? Have you worked in these fields? How many people do you know that have? And even if these jobs are personally not to your taste why do you assume that everyone else would feel the same? Personally I've known several accountants who were very good and passionate about their jobs. If they had had the opportunity to apprentice others I'm sure that there would be many more happy accountants there. Same goes for lavatory cleaners.
