Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

I continue to really enjoy your work. Wondering about SEL.
I've seen people push data showing increased interpersonal and coping skills (RULER, Mindful Schools, etc.). Our Head of School at the private school I work at paints schooling as an essential part of becoming a good person (mainly because of the SEL program our kids receive in the curriculum). I assume you see SEL programs as a waist of time and something that would be acquired much better in a free environment (please correct me on that if I'm over simplifying your stance).
So what would you tell someone who pointed to the data and tried to explain this is an example of where adult intervention is good for kids?
