I'd say just don't marry. There is no need to marry anymore. Zero cultural stigma and when you've reach the end of the relationships lifespan there is no need to involve the courts. The marriage commitment means almost nothing if you have vows that can be broken. People would be better served by acknowledging this reality and take a none participation route in the marriage system. Safest and most logical move to make.
