Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

Thanks so much for your thoughts, Eric. I'm glad you've found relief. We had a similar experience with one of our daughters when she was quite young. She had horrible eczema that only hydrocortisone seemed to help, but it would come back with a vengeance once we stopped the treatment. We tried everything. We asked the pediatrician about possible dietary issues and they basically poo-pooed the idea, saying there was no evidence that could be a factor. Finally we drastically reduced white flour and sugar, which made a huge difference. Seafood was also a factor.
Such relief to have it cleared up, isn't it? I think people who haven't had or seen severe eczema don't know what a problem it can be. I certainly didn't.
