Unless the author consider Tibetan Buddhism a nest of right wing intolerant angry hateful bigot she might want to consider why this tradition makes people responsible for their reaction to what happens to them in life.

In other words if people insult us, yes it is painful and unfair and cruel but yes it is up to find the place within us where we are not affected. It's called emotional maturity and growing up.

In 20 years a left or right wing authoritarian US gov. could easily label all dissent as emotional violence.
