The candidates running for president as well as the sitting president don't seem any more real than the actors in tv dramas and sitcoms. Candidates and sitting presidents will say or promise just about anything to get elected or re-elected. They are no more relevant than Hollywood. Heck, those people might as well run too! They think if you slap a bumper sticker on their forehead they have the answere!
The harsh reality is in my own community. It can't be ignored. The homeless, wounded vets, drug abuse and on and on. We contribute to local charities and volunteer in the community. It's a small way of doing something toward an ocean of problems.
