Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

Your article truly hit home for me too. I love all the comments your readers posted. One said a life half lived. Did I squander my life away? It feels like it somedays yet life is still evolving around me. I never thought I'd stumble on your article or meet strangers who talk openly from their heart. Your voices strengthen me to my core. I know by God I made some poor choices over my lifetime and I realize if I hang in there I am grateful for my life too. One thing my mother said to me after a horrendous event happened to me as I just turned 18 and I am 65 she said "just pray". I pray, I meditate, I look at the tumbleweeds blowing in my yard and know everything happens for a reason. You touched my heart with your words. Bless you. Thank you.
