Thanks for commenting, Kim. I agree that this is a complex problem with not so many easy, pat solutions. However, one of the reasons I began teaching my Targeted Parenting classes was to provide parents with a community - a "village" of sorts, where they could learn from other parents facing the same challenges they do, and support one another. Have you considered taking a parenting class? It may provide the supportive community you are looking for.
