Ugh yourself. I know these people. Their horrendous treatment of others was not a cause their suffering, but now they are left alone to cope, having burned their bridges with their families. Seeing them suffering the ravages of old age alone after what they have done to other people helps the forgiveness process because they finally got what was coming to them. Why such an extreme reaction in defense of the indefensible? Mean, rotten, selfish, callous people should be judged based upon the content of their character. That is, of course, unless you are one of them. God forbid you should have to pay the piper for what you hath wrought.
