Unfortunately, what this article doesn’t address is that another way to recover from infidelity is for the betrayed partner to leave the relationship. Sometimes the healthiest thing to do in this situation is to walk away. Not every relationship can be saved, and some certainly shouldn’t be. I just want to put it out there that it’s a perfectly acceptable option.
