I can tell by the structure of your post that you are also extremely intelligent. For the record, I am a male and while I consider males such as Seth Godin off the scale in terms of intelligence I consider females more intelligent than males in relevant ways today.
After spending the first half of my life talking to others about things that excited me only to draw blank stares of disinterest I became assertive. In many ways my ability to see as obvious what few others see is a curse. Like a lot of introverts I want to make a difference. But since it seems to be a human trait to want to meddle in things one doesn't understand I have become aggressive in defending my turf.
