Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

I've been together 3 years with my boyfriend, he's an extrovert and I'm an introvert, and he is very understanding of my character.
The only problems we've had lately have with the socializing part of our lives, he's definitely more passionate about that than I am, and I think my insecurities about the relationship rise up when I see him having fun with another extroverted female...although I know that we are irreplaceable to each other it is difficult to feel that I belong in a social situation when I just cannot relate, and so it makes my jealousy worse. I wish I weren't, but it's very difficult! I would be happy to receive any advice.
