Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

My boyfriend and I are both introverts, but he's closer to 80/20 and I am closer to 55/45, if that makes sense. I consider myself more of an ambivert, because while I enjoy time alone, I almost equally enjoy being social and having lots of friends. My boyfriend only has a few friends to speak of, while I have several. He prefers to play his video games alone or with one other person, while I am texting and talking to people almost all day. We get annoyed by each others' differences frequently and things are far from perfect, but we have found that the more we respect each other, the easier it is. I let him play his games and he lets me text all day, and it works out just fine (though nowhere near perfectly).
