Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

I don't know about you, but I also tend to be somewhat of a serious person. I think I can appreciate humor (although please, no slapstick), but I'm not a funny person myself. At least, not intentionally. :-) Being serious, by itself, is a turn-off for a lot of people. It doesn't mean I never laugh or smile - I smile often and I think I'm friendly. But when it comes to "issues," I tend to get serious. For example, I don't like dumb blonde jokes. But if I say anything about it - if I question the underlying premise -- I'm accused of having no sense of humor.
