Sharing personal information brings people closer together. But how do you know when you’ve gone too far—or when someone else has ulterior motives?

I submit that when old age infirmity sets in, men will have a greater tendency towards depression than women. This is a result of the male's inability to work and play in traditional male patterns that gave his life meaning. A man who feels that age has emasculated him will lose his motivation to eat properly, exercise, & seek medical care. Men have a tendency to define themselves by what they do, compared with women who define themselves by who they are.
It has also been my observation that those with a strong pair-bond will live longer out of a mutual sense of obligation to care for their mate. I have observed many cases where the death of a long-time partner initiates decline in the physical and mental health of the survivor.
