2) Popularity isn't always for a good or healthy reason. Paris Hilton, the Kardashians, the Octomom, and Jon and Kate Plus 8 are examples.
3)This isn't just you, but speculation by professionals featured on Psychology Today about celebrities you haven't personally treated needs to stop. Just because articles are clicked, doesn't mean what is said is professionally responsible. I agree with Elevita above.
4) I agree with you that moderation may be right for some people who have run into issues with alcohol. All or nothing seems to be a dangerous approach for some people and I've seen a number of people go down that road when they didn't need to. I've read your blog for awhile now (don't get conceited and think you're special, I read at least 100 PT blog entries each week--both good and bad) and the way you put your message out there makes me cringe most of the time. Your initial blog post wasn't so bad, but I was turned off when you called out Anne in that manner. I can only speak for myself, but I would be more open to your message if your tone was slightly less abrasive and defensive.
