I was always puzzled about the disproportionate number of women embracing religion when religious dogma was written by men. Much of the penalties of stoning and burning in hell for eternity was obviously a tactic of control. Those penalties are often pointed at women. Reason will have to prevail over religious dogma to give women the equality they deserve.
