Cecilia Dintino PsyD

Cecilia Dintino, PsyD, is Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychology at Columbia University Medical Center and a faculty member at New York University’s graduate program in Drama Therapy. 

For 28 years, Dr. Dintino has been facilitating groups and working with individuals using integrative means to foster change, inspire curiosity and provide support in the service of growth – personal and communal.  Dr. Dintino works as a consultant and is in private practice in New York City where she incorporates mindfulness, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, positive psychology, storytelling and improvisation techniques as tools to manage stress, enhance creativity and increase self-efficacy.  In 2014 Dr. Dintino received the North American Drama Therapy Performance Award, given in recognition of the exemplary use of performance to facilitate individual or collective awareness and transformation. 

Dr. Dintino is the co-founder of Drama Lab, NYC, a theatre and improvisation company, and is a co-founder, with Hannah Starobin, of Twisting the Plot: Solutions for Women over 50, a program designed to help women reenergize and repurpose their lives.
