Hannah Rose LCPC

Hannah Rose, LCPC, is a therapist, writer, public speaker, and lover of all things caffeinated. She is also a millennial and provides a clear lens and fresh set of eyes on topics to which many have become jaded. Hannah received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Goucher College in 2012. She continued her studies at Johns Hopkins University where she received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015. Hannah has worked predominately in agencies that treat chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.  Recently, she ventured into the world of private practice. Hannah believes that change must begin internally. As Thich Nhat Hanh says, in order to produce change, we must water the roots instead of watering the leaves. That being said, most humans channel their energy into maladjusted behaviors such as blame, shame, and control. This is what the majority of her blog posts are about. After deciding that she was done “hustling for worthiness” by writing for major newspapers and publications like The Baltimore Sun and elephantjournal.com, Hannah decided to create her own website so that she can write whatever she feels.
